Capello: “You can’t compare this Inter with my Milan because…”

Fabio Capello refused to compare this Inter, with a strong defense but with some problems to score, with his Milan, that made history winning 1-0: "That year, Milan were coming from three consecutive European Cup/Champions League participations. You also have to remember that we were without Marco van Basten for a lot of that season. So to compare the two is unfair, as Inter are still developing and improving. Back in those days Milan were always great defensively, thanks to some great coaches like Nils Liedholm and Arrigo Sacchi who came before. But back then, we  still played [attacking football]..."
