Intervenuto ai microfoni de La Stampa, Ruud Krol, ex calciatore, ha detto chi, secondo lui, è il vero leader dell'Olanda: "Dumfries, non è forse il genere di trascinatore che uno si aspetta ma si fa sentire, rispettare, detta i ritmi. All'Inter ha trovato la consapevolezza che gli mancava", le sue parole.
